Located just outside the historic village of Blarney, home of Blarney Castle and the famous Blarney Stone, Phelan's Bed & Breakfast extends a warm and friendly welcome to all of our guests and we will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
All rooms are furnished to a high standard. We offer you a superb cooked Irish breakfast, a vegetarian alternative, or simply a continental style breakfast with fresh fruit, a range of cereals, organic skimmed and semi-skimmed milk, organic yoghurts, croissants, toasted malted granary bread, jams, marmalades, a selection of herbal teas, and quality fine ground Italian coffee.
After breakfast take a stroll along the terrace and take in the beautiful Blarney countryside before setting off to explore Blarney and the castle, or take a trip into Cork a short distance away and explore this historic city. Later in the evening, when you return allow Chef Shane cook dinner for you. Phelan's award winning restaurant serves only local produce. Fresh fish and succulent steaks are always on our menu and gourmet dishes are enjoyed by locals as well as visitors.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Light snacks, coffee and the bar are available all day. As well as the bar we have a games room with pool table and enough space to be able to make the most difficult shots. The front terrace is a popular location to enjoy a cool beer, or glass of wine.
Phelan's Woodview house sits at the rear of extensive landscaped grounds and provides ample car parking large enough for both residents and diners. Phelan's is a large sprawling property with B&B accommodation in one wing, the bar in the middle, and our famous restaurant in the other wing. The restaurant, ensuite rooms and bar are all handicap accessible.
